West Coast Road – Malua to Faleolo

02 Dec, 2019

Like many Pacific Islands, Samoa is vulnerable to extreme weather events. Such events can cause severe damage to infrastructure assets. This project’s objective is to improve the resilience of Samoa road network along the West side. The route is mainly used by residence around the area and the locals travelling from the Apia heading towards Faleolo International Airport, Mulifanua Wharf and further West side of the island.

The works is yet to be tendered out. Like every other transport projects along West Coast Road, this is a project by the Government of Samoa (GOS) funded by the World Bank (WB) through a Strategic Climate Fund (SCF).
